The Santa Margarida Stud was founded in the year of 1983, and always dedicated exclusively, to horse breeding, Puro Sangue Lusitano.

The Stud is located at Monte da Sernadinha (name of the farm) near the village of Santa Margarida do Sado - Ferreira do Alentejo.

Tha higt quality of our horses come from very good sallions like Universo, Opus-72 and Spartacus, this one the great champion born in our Stud.

The degree of attention spent selecting the mares for reprodution is of an equal level in relation to the selection of the stallions, always ensuring the highest quality.
